I received an acceptance from Our Iowa magazine last week! It’s a publication I’ve never been in before, so that’s one first to celebrate. The second? My payment will be an Amish pecan pie!
I can say with certainty that all my Ross ancestors, whether dead or alive, would agree: I’ve made it as an author now.
