Infused with Murder

An Irish Tearoom Mystery

Book 9 of 15

Summer in Blarney Green, Ireland, is Penny Cavanagh’s cup of tea, from the beautiful weather to the influx of visitors from all over the world coming to see the famed Blarney Castle nearby. Hoping to capitalize on the increased tourist traffic, Penny plans a free workshop at The Merry Teapot, her family’s tearoom, to be hosted by resident tea sommelier Ian Duffy. However, trouble brews quickly when Ian’s mentor, famed tea expert Niles Barton, arrives and attempts to commandeer the event. Dealing with Niles’s rude behavior takes every last drop of Penny’s patience-but her resolve is truly tested when she discovers the snobbish sommelier strangled at Ian’s cottage.

Although nobody in the close-knit village would believe Ian capable of the cold-blooded crime, Penny’s boyfriend, Garda Detective Inspector Finn Campbell, must treat Ian as the main suspect when circumstantial evidence starts to pile up against him. Determined not to let her friend stand accused of murder, Penny begins investigating other possibilities, soon learning that Niles collected far more enemies than allies over the years and motives for his murder are plentiful.

When promising leads begin slipping through her fingers and danger strikes close to home, Penny finds herself unsure of how to keep Ian out of hot water. Will Penny help capture a killer before her investigation run out of steam, or will her battle of wits with the murderer reach a boiling point she can’t escape?
