Friday afternoon brought another bit of good writing news! I was honored to receive another writing assignment from LifeStone Ministries, this time for their Primary Bible Teacher Sunday school curriculum.
I’ll be writing nine lessons for the Fall 2028 quarter. It’s always exciting to receive a new assignment, and I’m grateful for another opportunity to use my writing to help children learn and grow in their faith.
Looks like I’ll be keeping busy at my keyboard!
Last week held some very good writing news for me! I’m happy to share that Guideposts Angels on Earth will publish my kindness story in their November/December issue.
The story, Earning Their Wings, is about a simple act of kindness in a mall parking lot and a reminder that sometimes the smallest gestures can make a difference.
I’m always grateful when one of my stories finds the right home, and I’m looking forward to seeing this one in print later this year!
There’s nothing like a little good news to brighten a hot summer day! I’m happy to share that another one of my devotions has been accepted for publication by Keys for Kids Ministries.
My devotion, Stay Fully Charged, will be featured in an upcoming issue of Keys for Kids. It’s always exciting to receive another contract and know that a story God placed on my heart will soon encourage young readers.
One more contract signed… and one more reason to be grateful.
I don’t think I’ve ever had author copies arrive two days in a row!
Yesterday it was Angels on Earth. Today it’s The Upper Room. This one is especially exciting because it’s my first time being published in The Upper Room.
Seeing my name in print never gets old, especially when it’s in a publication I’ve admired for years. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my faith and be part of a devotional that has encouraged readers around the world for generations.
Some days the mailbox is just a little more exciting than others.
My copies of the July/August 2026 issue of Angels on Earth are here, and it’s always a little surreal to see my work in print. This issue includes my story in the Lost & Found section, inspired by one of those moments that leaves you shaking your head and smiling.
Holding an author copy never gets old. I’m grateful for another opportunity to share a story and for the readers who continue to follow along on this writing journey.
I received some exciting news today—my story, Deadly DNA Match, has advanced to Round 2 of Harlequin Intrigue’s Crime Scenes & Chemistry Blitz contest!
The first round involved submitting a story concept and opening pages. The Harlequin Intrigue editors saw enough potential to invite me to submit the complete manuscript for further consideration.
That means I’ll be spending the next two months deep in the world of crime scenes, clues, chemistry, and suspense as I finish the story.
No guarantees beyond this point, but making it to Round 2 feels like a win worth celebrating. Now it’s time to get writing!
